North Pattaya

This upscale beach area starts from the Dolphin Roundabout and includes the North Pattaya beach and Na Klua Bay. It has a serene atmosphere so far away the hustle and bustle of the Beach Road. Many high-end sea-facing hotels, resorts and restaurants can be seen in this area.

Central Pattaya

The 3-km crescent-shaped Pattaya beach is very popular with tourists. Due to the continuous flow of tourists, there are wide variety of restaurants, bars, recreational centers and shops in the area. The road runs parallel to the beach.

South Pattaya

After the evening hours, the Beach Road here has restricted vehicular movement and is thronged by young and old revelers. It is one of the throbbing nightspots with loud music and neon light with a dining, shopping and entertainment facilities.

Jomtien

Located barely 3 kms away from Pattaya Beach, this beach is uncrowded, cleaner and quieter. This is the best place to relax. The 6 kms long almost straight beach is a favorite among those seeking water-based activities and wind surfing. In the running parallel to the beach, there are many hotels and restaurants. When you see the well-formed beach today, it is difficult to imagine that the area used to be a paddy field earlier.

Naklua

Naklua is a small beach among the giants and hence not targeted by developers like Pattaya beach. It is cleaner, quieter, and more frequented by families. While millions are spent on Pattaya Beach for cleaning up, Naklua still has crystal clear water with good visibility. It is ideal for swimming and bathing. As the beach is suitable for wind surfing, many visit the beach for this purpose. The equipments for windsurfing are available for hire.

Bangsaen

This beach located 13 kms away from the city of Chonburi, is more popular with locals and Thailand’s expats. To reach here, take the Sukhumvit Highway and turn right at KM 104. The beach is located 3 kms ahead on this road. A 2.5 km road runs parallel to the beach. Here deck chairs and rubber rings are available for hire. Swimming and bathing is very much enjoyable. Along the beach, many vendors are seen selling seafood snacks and drinks. There are many restaurants lining the beach selling seafood delicacies.
